My team during the Fall of 2021. This was a 4 month project in Unity with 7 other students. In the Spring of 2022, I worked solo to fix and polish the game after some of my team graduated.

Taken from your peaceful home by strange creatures and subjected to experimentation aboard their ship, you have been studying them as they have studied you. Use your superior mind to take control of them as you attempt your escape!

A turn-based strategy game with a unique mind control mechanic; Psychohazard has players acting as a Sci-Fi movie monster fighting their way though a ship filled with space marines.

I was the Producer on the team. as well as the UI and Audio Programmer. I learned a lot about Unity’s UI system, especially the intricacies of layering and camera work. The most fun thing to work on, however, was easily the pop up boxes for the game. Resizing them based on what information I needed to display, color coating the information, and displaying the math behind the hit detection was a lot of fun.

I also completely overhauled the games AI. Going into the previous AI programmers code looking for bugs and implementation details was quite the challenge, but one I’m very happy with the results of.
